Evidence-based programs tailored to your unique recovery needs

Medical Detox

At CLRT Rehab, medical detoxification is the first step toward restoring balance to your whole being. Our 3-to-7-day detox program provides round-the-clock medical supervision by physicians and nursing staff who specialize in withdrawal management. When clinically appropriate, we use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to ease symptoms and reduce cravings, while our nutritional support team prepares nourishing meals designed to replenish vitamins and minerals depleted by substance use.

Beyond the physical, our Davis detox program integrates breathwork, guided relaxation, and gentle movement to calm the nervous system during this vulnerable period. Every client receives a personalized detox plan that accounts for the substances involved, medical history, and emotional readiness. Our 132-member care team ensures that no one moves through detox alone -- family members receive daily updates and guidance so they can hold space for their loved one from the very beginning.

Residential Treatment

Our 30-to-90-day residential program immerses clients in a structured healing environment across our 63-bed Davis campus. Each morning begins at 6:30 AM with a nature walk along local trails, followed by outdoor fitness sessions that harness Sacramento Valley sunshine and fresh Delta breezes. This early-riser outdoor schedule is intentional -- reconnecting with the natural world reawakens the senses that substance use dulled, grounding the body while quieting the mind.

Throughout the day, residents engage in individual counseling, group therapy, yoga, music therapy, and vocational workshops that build practical skills for life after treatment. Farm-to-table meals nourish the body, evening reflection circles nurture the spirit, and mindfulness meditation ties everything together. With 21 years of clinical experience guiding our approach, CLRT Rehab creates a residential experience where mind, body, and spirit heal in rhythm with one another.

Outpatient Program

For clients stepping down from residential care or those whose circumstances allow them to live at home, our 8-to-12-week outpatient program maintains the momentum of recovery without removing you from daily life. Partial hospitalization (PHP) meets 2 to 4 weeks of intensive daytime programming, while our intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers flexible morning or evening sessions so you can continue working, parenting, or attending school in Davis.

Sessions incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and music therapy to address thought patterns, strengthen internal motivation, and provide creative emotional outlets. Our outpatient clients also benefit from peer support groups, family education sessions, and ongoing access to holistic practices like guided meditation and outdoor mindfulness walks. Over 11,900 individuals have moved through our continuum of care, and our outpatient track is designed to ensure that the wholeness cultivated in earlier treatment carries forward into everyday living.

Dual Diagnosis

When addiction and a mental health condition exist together -- depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder -- treating only one leaves the other to pull a person back. At CLRT Rehab, our dual diagnosis program addresses both simultaneously through an integrated clinical model. Psychiatrists, therapists, and holistic practitioners collaborate on a single treatment plan so that medication management, talk therapy, and mind-body practices all move in the same direction.

Our holistic approach means that dual diagnosis care extends beyond the therapy room. Nutritional psychiatry supports brain chemistry, yoga and breathwork regulate the nervous system, and strengths-based counseling helps clients rediscover capabilities that illness obscured. Families learn how co-occurring disorders interact so they can provide informed, compassionate support after discharge. With 132 staff members across clinical and wellness disciplines, CLRT Rehab has the depth to treat the whole person -- not just a diagnosis.
